Jira...actual size

These are something totally new for me.
I’m calling them “Jira” (Swahili for “seed”)
They are small sculptures that i made a mold of and have been casting in clay.
This is a pic of their actual size.

Each has to be sculpted some after coming out of the mold and is then hand painted- so no two are exactly alike. They have a small hole cut in the back so that they can easily hang on a tack nail.

This set went to a gallery in Galveston TX. You can contact them through the info on my website (check the gallery page) I have more of these, and am in the process of creating more.

I’ve decided to take orders for them. If you want them before xmas you’ll need to let me know soon.
